April 10, 2012, another farm-to-market road is inaugurated after being completed ahead of time. It’s another score for the comfort of the residents. Purok Rainbow in Iba. Iyam gets a 615-meter barangay road thru the initiative and leadership of Cong. Irvin M. Alcala of Quezon Province’s 2nd district. The road construction and concreting project costs P2.5 million. Tapping the expertise of the District Engineer’s Office of the DPWH, Cong. Irvin M. Alcala is looking to create a model district in its own right.
Better review of the current and recent projects in the district reveal the upsurge of meaningful and significant projects that deal with the more relevant problems or issues. Along with the increasing need for better infrastructure, the representative puts priority on of the province’s major industries: agriculture. FMR's introduce a faster and more convenient way to deliver local business goods all around the district. This greatly improves travel time and significantly decreases the chance of wilted produce in the town markets.
Better roads also boost development in the local communities. It helps in getting the residents faster and safer to their destinations: schools, work etc.
Recent developments in the district show the progress and growth of the local scene. It reflects the efforts of the communities to cooperate with the representative in bringing meaningful and substantial improvement in the district.
Also, visible projects show transparency and the process of making the public’s well-paid taxes work back for them; all in good faith and honest public service.
The roads to development in the 2nd district never seem to end. Instead, they just keep getting better and better. All with the convenience and betterment of the partner communities and their residents.
